A versatile 2C LED strip with selectable 4000K or 3000K color temperature

The LIMENTE RIBBON LUX 2C LED strip belongs to the LIMENTE RIBBON product family. Its special feature is a built-in color temperature change (3000K and 4000K), which is also a familiar feature in Limente's cabinet lights. The color temperature change simplifies product design, as you don't need to select the color temperature in advance. It can be easily changed during installation or later on by the user.

The RIBBON LUX 2C is a powerful, cuttable LED strip with a high LED density (192 LEDs per meter). In addition to being used for kitchen task lighting, the strip serves as indirect lighting, for example, behind mirrors, in plinths, in furniture, on ceilings, and anywhere the lamp needs to be as invisible as possible. The RIBBON LUX 2C LED strip has a high efficiency (126 lm/W) and color rendering (CRI 90), offering the highest possible quality of light while consuming little electricity.

The LIMENTE RIBBON LUX 2C comes in standard lengths of 2 and 4 meters, and you can shorten the LED strip to your desired length at intervals of about 4 cm, allowing for various customized solutions. The LED strip comes standard with a fixed 5 cm cord and a separate 300 cm cord at both ends. If this isn't sufficient, you can order an extension cable (3 m) with the product number 681588. You can attach a maximum of one extension cable per fixture wire, which brings the maximum wire length to up to 6 meters. The power supply wire on both ends allows the RIBBON to be used in two separate sections if needed. This way, you can avoid unnecessary waste pieces and install the strip from the power source in two different directions.

For use with the RIBBON strip, a compatible 24 V power supply must be used. The suitable options are mentioned in connection with the products.

Dimming and lighting control

With a stepless dimmer, it's easy to create atmosphere and a new look for a space. By dimming LIMENTE fixtures, you can change your home's lighting from bright and efficient to dim and cozy. If you wish, you can use the same dimmer to control all the LIMENTE fixtures in the room, including different ceiling, panel, and backsplash lights. The lights dim smoothly and pleasantly, changing the mood of the entire space.

LIMENTE RIBBON LUX 2C is dimmable either with LIMENTE SMART CLASSIC, LUXUS ja GREENLINE series 24V dimmer (no. 640540) and wireless wall switches (no. 640541, 640542, 640543, 640544, 640546 and 640547). The dimmer is installed between the power supply and the fixture. The dimmer includes a similar manifold to the one included in the power supply. LIMENTE RIBBON LUX is also dimmable with a Dali driver (LEDDALI100). The driver is controlled by either a 240 V Dali controller or a push button switch, utilizing the "Push Dim" function.

Installation

Installation of the LIMENTE RIBBON LUX 2C strip is quick and easy. The power supply cable, which is often hidden, for example, behind a cabinet, is put into place so that the male end is near the power supply and the female end is near the RIBBON LUX 2C light strip. Remove the protective film from the adhesive tape on the light strip and press the strip into its installation location. Finally, connect the power supply cable to the light strip and the power supply using the quick connectors.

The RIBBON LUX 2C can be shortened at 4 cm intervals and has a power supply at both ends, meaning you can use both ends separately if needed. The RIBBON LUX 2C must always be attached to a heat-conducting material, such as the aluminum profile available as an accessory. This ensures the promised lifespan of the LED strip is achieved. The profile also allows for installation, for example, under a drying cabinet, and its matte cover (diffuser) makes the light more even. In all cases, make sure the mounting surface is clean and dry before you attach the LED strip.
