RIBBON 30 LUX

A versatile LED strip

LIMENTE RIBBON LUX is part of the LIMENTE LUX collection, where the technical characteristics of the luminaire, such as colour rendering, are as good as possible. LIMENTE RIBBON is a powerful work and mood lighting with LEDs very close to each other (192 LEDs / meter). The ribbon is used in kitchen lighting as an indirect light, for example behind the mirrors, in plinths, in furniture, in ceilings, and anywhere where the lamp needs to be as invisible as possible. LIMENTE RIBBON can be shortened between 4 mm. Especially when it is mounted on the LIMENTE LIGHT PROFILE, light is beautifully even and uniform.
The LIMENTE LUX -series lamps have excellent efficiency and their color rendering is perfect. High quality LEDs with a color rendering index of CRI> 90, a light output of 1700 lm / m and a color temperature of 3000 K or 4000 K are used as standard in the LUX-series. Due to the excellent technical values, the LUX models emphasize the true colors of the illuminated item in the best possible way and they are granted with a 3-year warranty. NOTE! The power supply must be ordered separately.

Both ends of the ribbon have a standard 5 cm + 300 cm long cord. If this is not enough, you can order an extension cord (3 m), item number 681588. Extension cables can be connected up to 1 pcs / light fixture, allowing a cable length of up to 6 m. At both ends, the current power supply cable makes it possible to use the LED RIBBON in two parts. This avoids unnecessary waste and allows the tape to be installed from the power supply in two directions.

Dimming and lighting control

By adjusting the LED strip, you can customize the lighting and create lighting that suits your home and the situation. The stepless dimmer makes it easy to create a cosy mood and a completely new look in the room. By dimming the LIMENTE lights, you change the lighting in your home from efficient and bright to dim and cosy. If you wish, you can use the same control to adjust all the LIMENTE lights in the room, including the different ceiling, panel and work lights. The lights adjust evenly and smoothly.

LIMENTE RIBBON IP44 LUX is dimmable either with LIMENTE SMART CLASSIC, LUXUS ja GREENLINE series 24V dimmer (no. 640540) and wireless wall switches (no. 640541, 640542, 640543, 640544, 640546 and 640547). The dimmer is installed between the power supply and the fixture. The dimmer includes a similar manifold to the one included in the power supply. You can connect up to 6 LIMENTE lights to one dimmer, as long as the maximum load (W) of the power supply is not exceeded. Read more about dimming in PRODUCTS - LIGHT CONTROL

RIBBON is also dimmable with a Dali driver (LEDDALI100). The driver is controlled by either a 240 V Dali controller or a push button switch, utilizing the "Push Dim" function.

Installation

The LIMENTE RIBBON LUX tape is fast and easy to install.

The power supply cable, often hidden behind the cabinet, is put in place so that the male connector comes close to the power source and the female near the RIBBON LUX light strip. The light tape is pressed into the desired surface using 2-way tape and finally the power supply cable is pressed against the light strip and the power supply. All electrical connections are made simply by quick connectors.

The RIBBON LUX can be trimmed at 4 cm intervals and at both ends there is a power supply, so you can use both ends separately if wanted. RIBBON LUX should always be attached to heat-conductive material such as an optional LIGHT LIST. This will ensure long lifetime of the tape. The list also allows for installation under a drying cabinet, and its protective matt glass makes the light even more smooth. In all cases, make sure that the fastening surface is absolutely clean and dry before attaching the strip.
